Public speaking these days, is one of the most important traits or skill required for any person. It becomes more important when, someone is leader. The presentation skills on computer are less necessary than your actually presentation skills with your body language, voice and content.

Whenever we go for the presentation, the most important topics are to be taken care.

1. Have deep knowledge about the topic

Topic Knowledge

Speech can be given on any topic. This is very easy if you know the basic steps of public speaking. The most important part is whenever you have topic to discuss, read out basic details of the topic.

1. Basic knowledge
2. Applications of that particular topic.
3. Where to get the knowledge.
4. What are the different deep level topics can come in the topic. Have overview of it

Be prepared for any questions

After having the knowledge on topic, one has to be prepared for the questions will be asked .

Know your audience

For preparing the questions you need to know the audience.

For example,

1.What they like, what they dislike

2.From where they are coming from. Know the background.

3.Do they have better knowledge than you about topic.

4.What is usefulness of topic for them.

5.How can you speak more about relevant topic.

2.Prepare yourself for stage

After preparing for the topic, it is very necessary that you make ready yourself for stage.

Avoid Stage fear

Generally, if you are not routine speaker, it is very difficult to have confidence on the stage initially.

For public speaking, stage fear has to be avoided.

Rehearsal

To remove stage fear, it is very important that you do rehearsal for the topic at least 10 times, till you get confident.

For public speaking, it is very necessary to prepare prepare prepare.

Use mirror to see your face and body language, how you will look like and improve time to time, after rehearsal.

If requires, do rehearsal of your speech, in front of your friends, relatives or who can give you right feedback and you do not feel bad about that.

3. The Rest

It is very important that, you go with fresh mind and you have taken proper rest.

If public speaking of your topic, after tiresome day, then make yourself relax by doing some activity of your liking and forget the what happened today.

If you have whole day is good or bad, you will be biased towards the day. Keep yourself and your mind empty without biasness. This will give you better clarity on your topic.

4.Body language

This is one of the most important part of public speaking. Even if you speak good, your content is good. But, your body language is not good. Then, there is a big problem.

With improper body language or standing stand still, it will not give excitement to the audience.

Right body language, moving your hands by showing importance of points, which you want to emphasis.

People always believe what they see, they listen less. So, body language is mot important.

5.Confidence

Last, but not the least. Confidence is very important. Once you start the topic in public speaking, it is very important to focus on the speech.

To get confidence in public speaking, forget below things during speech.

1.Forget you are right or wrong. You have prepared you know that.

2.If you are well prepared, do not think what is going to happen.

3. Do not use bad words or loose comments during speech.

Below things are to be used in topic.

1.Use real time examples. With this example, you are not hurting anyone, that you need to check.

2.Make people feel that, they are getting for what they have come to listen.

This is one of the most famous portion in public speaking for any leader/speaker. Use story telling as a tool to emphasize your point. This gives a better touch to the topic you are speaking. The most people forget to speak about some story or narration and directly try to focus on the topic given to them.

Instead of getting focus from audience, they loose attention over the topic. So, point to point discussion is very important. But, when you are in public speaking, you need to see about story telling tool.
